How much does Occupational Therapy cost?

The cost of service is based on the standard fees which have been determined by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

1. Professional time, including preparation, assessment, treatment, verbal and written consultation and reporting is charged at standard rates.
2. Travel time is billed at half the professional hourly rate with mileage charged separately ($0.69/km).
3. Rural Travel may be negotiated differently for travel/mileage charges.
4. Flat fees may be negotiated between the therapist and client/fee payer and these vary considerably depending on the service; flat fees are established using expected hours and hourly rate charges. Please contact Spark for further details.

How do I pay for my session?

Payment of fees is due upon receipt of the invoice, which will be issued at each session. Where services are covered by supplementary insurance, clients are required to pay directly and then submit invoices to the insurance company for reimbursement.
