Tween Social Group
This fun, interactive social group will provide your tween a place where they can feel a sense of safety and belonging. Peer connection is essential and at times, a challenging part of adolescence. With friendly adult support, your tween will be encouraged to try new experiences and further explore their own interests. We will meet weekly throughout the Campbell River community for seven weeks, spending time outdoors, playing games, and forging new relationships.

Teen Social Group
This group will offer a sense of safety, respect, and belonging for your teen while promoting social connection with peers and fostering greater independence. Youth will be encouraged to explore their creativity and interests throughout the community. Group location will change weekly, with an emphasis on spending time outdoors and in nature. Throughout seven weeks your teen will be provided the opportunity to practice social skills in an organic group context.

Kindergarten Readiness Group
Come and join us for our 6 week program to gain the necessary skills needed for entry into kindergarten in the fall. This intensive program will help children learn and develop the necessary tools to make their transition to kindergarten a success.
The program is run by our Registered Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with all content aligned to support the British Columbia kindergarten school curriculum.
Focus areas include:
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Language and linguistics
- Social skills and guided peer play
- Structured routines to generalize kindergarten expectations

Dungeons and Dragons Group
Are you looking for a way to help your child or teen connect with others through shared interests?
Through Dungeons and Dragons, players can face fun challenges as a team, solve puzzles, team up against monsters and, most importantly, create a story with new friends.
Our D&D group is run by a board certified behaviour analyst who has experience playing and running D&D for neuro-divergent and neurotypical learners of all ages. Through this fun, goal-directed program, we will support your child in developing their social skills, problem solving skills, skills for flexibility and collaboration, and executive functioning skills.
12 to 17 years old

Adventure Agent Group
Adventure Agent Group is the use of meaningful and purposeful recreation and leisure activities to improve one’s quality of life and provide support to those who have cognitive or physical limitations. This program will explore targeted recreation and leisure within our community and help educate our learners on how to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally.
We offer choice to the individual and work with them to complete fun and stress-free activities that they enjoy. We will also provide support to families in the form of locating resources in our community, as well as providing a clear plan to achieve their recreation goals.

This group explores Interoception, the 8th sensory system. Using Kelly Mahler's evidence-based curriculum as a guide, learners will be led through experiments to increase body awareness. They will learn to associate emotions with their own unique collection of body sensations and later develop a tool box of feel-good actions, enabling them to shift how their body feels. This interactive group is ideal for learners 6+.

Sensory Seeker Social Group
Child with sensory needs?
This fun and interactive group find your little one exploring their sensory systems. From shaving cream sensory boxes to bubble mountains, we will explore your little one’s sensory preferences. This course will look at arousing and calming activities to help your child navigate their busy environments and provide strategies for home.
Age: 4-6 years old

Executive Function Group
Executive Function is a phrase that includes a group of skills that we need to plan & carry out goals, focus our attention, remember & follow instructions, control our emotions, self-monitor, and remember new information. Like any other skill, we can strengthen our Executive Function skills by practicing!
In our Executive Function group, students will complete short lessons and fun, hands-on activities that are designed to strengthen their Executive Function skills. This 12-week program is run by a board certified behaviour analyst (BCBA).

AIM is a Social-emotional curriculum designed for school-aged children who may struggle with social or emotional challenges, anxiety/worrying, or coping with difficult tasks or situations that may arise throughout the course of their day.
This curriculum combines Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and some principles derived from Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Our AIM group is run by a board certified behaviour analyst (BCBA). Sessions are scheduled every Tuesday afternoon from 4:00-5:00 p.m. throughout the school year. Parent training sessions (optional but recommended) are provided once every other month.

Cooking & Life Skills
Do you want to explore cooking, trying new foods and life skills?
This course aims to provide age-appropriate skills to help your child navigate through their daily lives. We will explore cooking and trying new foods while learning the foundations of meal planning, budgeting, and food preparation.
We will introduce functional life skills such as community navigation, healthy lifestyle, job readiness, and domestic household tasks to encourage greater independence.
Age: 12 to 18 years old
Length: 1.5 hours, 8 weeks
Is your child a fussy eater? Are mealtimes stressful?
Our behaviour consultant has designed a specialized program that will gradually expose the child to new and exciting foods each week whilst teaching the importance of routine surrounding mealtimes.
Does your child want to learn social and interaction skills?
This group provides a great opportunity to practice interacting with same-age peers in a safe and judgement-free environment. Children and youth will benefit from targeted learning by using evidence-based curriculum. Fun is the foundation for this group with an emphasis on interactive and educational activities.
